Combine all ingredients together in asaucepanandheat over low heat until simmering. I have kept this going for a few hours, addingadditionalwater when needed

Cut rice paperinto thick strips,by laying two sheets on top of one another. The rice paper will cracka bit- but using a very sharp knife should eliminatemajorbreakage
